Improvements and Inventory Listing

Electrical Systems

• Quad Redundant Power System on flight instrumentation systems.
     * Dual main independent batteries and wiring systems
     * Each EFIS has independent one-hour internal battery back-up
     * EFIS Systems handle Engine Instrumentation, as well as navigation and flight
        information/management
• Avionics (Radios, Transponder) are on a diode-firmed buss with separate
emergency buss to power one set of radios
• 100% New wiring throughout.
• All switches and controls go through connectors or terminal strips and can
be serviced or replaced without cutting or splicing wires.
• There are three 24v to 12v converters.
• All switches and circuit breakers are mil spec/commercial rated
        (flight qualified for spacecraft).
• Have built-in capability to add new features.
• There is an electrical lock-out security system to safeguard against theft.

Fuselage Improvements

• The engine cowling is a custom-built carbon fiber structure based on a Sukhoi design. The cowling is approximately four inches narrower than that of a stock CJ, therefore presenting less frontal area and reduced drag
• The cowling is aerodynamically faired internally to decrease airflow drag on both ingress and egress.
• The fuselage just behind the cowling and forward of the windscreen has been raised to reduce drag and to eliminate the “broken back" look of the stock CJ.
• The air vent at the base of the windscreen has been replaced with a clean air vent system drawing air into a NACA vent under the left wing. Air is delivered to both cockpits via adjustable vents.
• The cowling has been designed to quickly provide access to the engine compartment without removing the cowling. If desired, the entire cowling can be removed in a matter of minutes
• The firewall has been fitted with a solid stainless sheet to improve fire safety and strength.
• The engine cowling was designed to fit flush with the main fuselage. This eliminated a major drag area common to stock CJs.
• The fuselage aft of the cockpit on the left side received a large· stainless doubler plate to provide strength for an oversize baggage door.
• The baggage door and hinges were professionally designed for strength, fit and an “out of the way” position when open. The door contributes structural strength to the fuselage.
• The internal baggage area is quite large and can handle golf clubs, parachutes and plenty of luggage and airplane supplies as well as dedicated space for batteries, electronics and a smoke system. The support structure for the baggage area deck also provides support for the aircraft fuselage.
• The baggage floor creates two spaces in the aft fuselage. The top area is for baggage, the area below the floor houses electronics, remote actuators for the engine iris and space for control cables and the autopilot.
• The door on the right-hand side of the fuselage for original battery access has been removed and re-skinned for strength and a smooth look to the airplane.
• The wing root skins top and bottom on both wings were removed and a framework installed to support auxiliary fuel tanks.
• Sapp aluminum auxiliary fuel tanks have been installed in each wing root. These tanks are very robust and add approximately sixteen gallons to each side. Total fuel is approximately seventy-two gallons.
• An advantage to wing root tanks is that the fuel is gravity fed from the outboard mains to the inboard auxiliary tanks. As a result, fuel weight is being constantly moved closer to the center of gravity, reducing stress on the wings.
• Engine - Vedeneyev M14P with 725.31 Hours
• 3-Bladed Propellor - MT
• Magnetos - Chinese magnetos (to avoid kick-back on start).
